Beach

Miles of beautiful white sand beachfront lines the La Jolla de Cortes property. Splash in the waves of the Sea of Cortez, explore the sand bars created by low tides, take a stroll down the peninsula or simply relax under the shade of a palapa sipping your favorite tropical drink. There are endless activities in the water and on the sand for you and your family to enjoy all vacation long.

With the ocean a mild temperature almost all year round, every time of year is ideal for swimming!

Beach Activities

Beach Volleyball: Enjoy a little family competition or just play around for fun with volleyball on the beach. Don’t be afraid to get a little sandy as you dive for those tough shots. Take a dip in the ocean to cool and clean off after a game!

Pool

Take a dip in one of Mayan Palace’s refreshing pools. Mayan Palace has pools to please every mood – from a 300 foot swimming pool to a Jacuzzi to an indoor and heated pool.  For those who want to make the most of every pool activity offered, participate in water polo, pool volleyball, family pool contests, water aerobics and much more.

For those who are more interested in soaking up the sun, claim a poolside lounge chair or cabana and read your book and sip on your piña colada while your kids have the time of their lives at the Kids Club.

Pool Activities

Water Aerobics: Get out of your lounge chair and jump out of the pool to try the water aerobics class. Moving around in the water will keep you energized and laughing for hours. Stretching and exercise is always more fun to do in the water!

Pool Volleyball: The perfect game for all ages, pool volleyball will bring out friendly competition and fun all afternoon. Compete with family, friends or other Mayan Palace members as you soak up the sun and splash around in pool volleyball games.
