Beach fun – Mayan Palace Mazatlan has miles of uninterrupted beachfront along the property overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Round up the family for a game of beach volleyball or soccer, build sand castles, collect sea shells, splash in the waves or just relax under a palapa.

Pool paradise – Cannonball into the refreshing and sparkling pools of Mayan Palace Mazatlan. Participate in family activities from pool volleyball and crazy games to water aerobics and lazy games. There is an activity for everyone in your family. Enjoy access to the snack bar and enjoy beverages poolside.

Do the kids need their own activities? Kids’ activities for ages 5-12 are available during the spring, summer and winter seasons. Kids can enjoy activities including English and Spanish lessons, crazy games, arts and crafts, ping pong tournaments, hockey tournaments, bingo, karaoke, pool and beach activities and much more. Babysitting is also available upon request.!

And, don’t miss the Octopus Play Room, complete with two pool tables, six video game machines, five Xbox machines and an air hockey table. Open daily from 9:00am – 11:00pm, the Octopus Play Room provides fun for all ages!

Adults can also have fun on their own. Adult activities are available on the property, including black jack, pool tournaments, Pilates, food carving, cocktail class, Texas Hold’em, Casino night and more.

The dining and shopping at Mayan Palace Mazatlan are experiences of their own. Enjoy authentic and delicious food and drinks at all of Mayan Palace’s restaurants and shop at the on-property boutique and market.

And – should you wish to leave the property – the town of Mazatlan provides a wealth of additional fun from tours and hikes to shopping to boat rentals and sporting excursions. Bullfighting season – Bull fights take place every Sunday after Christmas up until April at the historically monumental Bull Ring.

February
Candlemas Day (February 2nd) – Mazatlan celebrates this traditional holiday, gathering friends and family to feast on tamales. Sculpture contest – local and foreign artists gather on the costa’s beaches to make skillful sand sculpture creations. International Mazatlan Carnival – The grand carnival features a beauty queen crowning, a variety of floral arrangements, local cuisine tastings and parade floats.

February– March
Carnival Fair – Enjoy the fair rides, crafts, fair-favorite foods and musical performances.

March
Music Festival in homage to Lola Beltran – Music festival with live performances paying homage to the Mazatlan native, Lola Beltran. “Tom Garcia” International Golf Tournament – Championship is disputed with 54 holes of El Cid’s golf course under the “Medal Play” system.

March – April
Book Fair – Our annual Book Fair begins this month, where new books are presented, complete with round tables with distinct topics and cultural events in the Cultural Hallway within the Historic Center. Holy Week - A variety of religious observances take place throughout the two months. Similarly, non-religious activities and events concentrate along the city’s beaches.

April
Nancy Grimes Tennis Tournament - Annual tennis tournament played by many different celebrities. Fish Fair - A day of seafood tastings.

May
Mazatlan-Santa Rita Cyclist Tour - This national competition has a route that goes from 0 to 1,500 meters above sea level, which can prove to test the participants’ resistance.

June
National Marines Day (June 1st) - Festivities are organized to celebrate our marines and fishermen with traditional dances, games and music.

December
