Beach

The beach at Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta is wide and provides room to roam. A brisk walk in the morning and evening is highly recommended. The ocean is a mild temperature almost all year round and ideal for swimming. The bay provides a very calm swimming environment and the water is lovely and unpolluted.

Hit the beach early and enjoy the shade of the palapas. Bring your towel, beach novel, sunscreen, and plenty of water for a full day of beach fun.

Beach Activities

Parasailing Want to have a bird’s eye view of Mayan Palace? Try parasailing high up in the air. Operated by a third party, the company provides daily parasailing trips right off the Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta beach front. You will not want to miss the fun of parasailing!

Pool

At the Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta pool, get ready for fun  - enjoy gallons of water dispersed for all kinds of fun. There is a soccer pool with ankle-deep water for countless hours of fun. Daily activities offered at the pool include yoga, water spinning classes, cards, bingo, and pilates! There are hours of fun to be had at the beautiful Mayan Palace pool.

And you can pick up your drink of choice at the Mayan Palace snack bar. We recommend the Coco Loco on a warm afternoon.

Pool Activities

Hair Braiding: Make your souvenir come home on your head. Sit under the palapas while a Mayan Palace staff member braids your hair into tiny braids all across your head. It is a fun treat to take home from Mexico. The braids and beads usually last about three weeks and they can be washed!

Water Aerobics: Get out of your lounge chair and jump out of the pool to try the water aerobics class. Moving around in the water will keep you energized and laughing for hours. Stretching and exercise is always more fun to do in the water!

Beach Market: Spend an afternoon wandering through the outdoor market where local artisans come on a daily basis to show their latest goods. There is handmade pottery, cotton dresses, weaved bracelets, and silver jewelry for sale through independent artisans. They accept US dollars or Mexican Pesos.
