Beach

The beach at Mayan Palace Riviera Maya fronts the 2^nd largest reef base in the world. The stunning blue water, coral habitat, and soothing waves make the beach front prime real estate. The Riviera Maya building code maintain shorter buildings so the view is kept natural.  The ocean is a mild temperature almost all year round and ideal for swimming.

Hit the beach as the tree coverage area is a prized possession. Bring your towel, beach novel, sunscreen, and plenty of water for a full day of beach fun.

Don’t miss the weekly Tropical Night on Monday, Beach Party on Tuesday and Mexican Fiesta on Thursday . You don’t want to miss out with fun music and dinners on the beach!

Water Activities

Parasailing Want to have a bird’s eye view of Mayan Palace Riviera Maya and the coral reef? Try parasailing high up in the air. Operated by a third party, the company provides daily parasailing trips, jet ski rides, snorkel trips, and scuba diving trips right off the Mayan Palace Riviera Maya beach front. Be sure to schedule your adventure the day before. You will not want to miss the fun!

Pool

At the Mayan Palace Riviera Maya pool, get ready for fun - enjoy gallons of water dispersed for all kinds of fun. There is a pool with ankle-deep water, fountains and waterfalls, and a secret water maze for countless hours of fun. Daily activities offered at the pool include yoga, water spinning classes, cards, bingo, and Pilates! There are hours of fun to be had at the beautiful Mayan Palace pool.

And for a refreshing drink of water or a fun cocktail, you can pick up your drink of choice at the Mayan Palace snack bar. We recommend the Coco Loco on a warm afternoon.

Pool activities

Hair Braiding Make your souvenir come home on your head. Sit under the palapas while a Mayan Palace staff member braids your hair into tiny braids all across your head. It is a fun treat to take home from Mexico. The braids and beads usually last about three weeks and they can be washed!

Water Aerobics (No Charge) Get out of your lounge chair and jump out of the pool to try the water aerobics class. Moving around in the water will keep you energized and laughing for hours. Stretching and exercise is always more fun to do in the water!

Henna Tattoos Get the tattoos that you have always wanted! Henna tattoos are a great temporary fix for that spontaneous spirit. Mayan Palace staff draws designs from animals and flowers to names and symbols. The adventure will be fun while the tattoo is just temporary.
