It's the beginning of Mexico's tropical climates with cool nights and a strong ocean breeze. The summer months are warm during the day then always cool off at night. TRAVELING TO MAZATLÁN

TRANSPORTATION
The Mazatlán International Airport is 39 kilometers (24 miles) from the Mayan Palace Resort. Taxi services and rental cars (4x4s are the most popular) are also available. Transportation to and from the airport is available for a fee.
Once at the resort, guests can explore Mayan Palace by foot, by resort shuttle and soon by water taxi. Accommodations, the Brio Spa, gourmet restaurants, and beaches are all on the resort property.

- Beaches: Mazatlán offers 21 kilometers of white sand beaches stretched along the port of Mazatlán.
- Carnaval: Every February, Mazatlán gathers as a city and its visitors to honor the past and celebrate the future. As one of the oldest running carnivals in Mexico, Mazatlán combines ancient rituals with contemporary style and grace. Check out who will be crowned Queen of the Floral Games and King of Joy.
- Mazatlán Malecon: Stroll down the Oceanfront boulevard for the nice breeze and stunning sites. Find fantastic gifts at all the shops along the boulevard.

- The Lighthouse: Come see the tallest natural lighthouse in the world. Mazatlán's lighthouse, El Faro, sits perfectly on a high peak. You can take hiking paths to get to the top of the lights.
